Everyone:
I received a message today from one of my art teachers in California. She wanted
to thank us for our high quality service. In addition to their regular school
orders, they also placed orders for several dozen quilt blocks. They then made
quilts from them to auction off and raise money for their art program for next
year. I spoke with her this morning and she told me they made 8 quilts of different
sizes relating to Earth Day. They auctioned them off on Earth Day, raising $6000.00
for their art program. This is in addition to what they made on their regular
Original Works OP Program!
In fact, she was so pleased with the quilts and the children’s poetry relating
to Earth Day that she convinced her senator to arrange for a showing in Washington
D.C. The quilts and poetry were displayed in the Senate Building. She will send
us pictures along with an article about the display. Thanks for a job well done!

I wanted to let everyone at Original Works
know what an amazing job production did for my schools
this spring. Every school, even those who submitted their
orders to us late, received their products early. Very
few of my schools reported any problems with the products.
The few problems that did occur were handled quickly and
easily. What an awesome job!
Please express my thanks to the people in production for making Original Works
such a great experience for my schools.

Everyone:
Something I wanted to share with you as we prepare for another busy fall, and
to help us keep in mind why we do what we do!
While signing up St. Paul’s for the Fall 2004 program the school coordinator
told me that because they had such a great response to our program and products
last year, the district has hired a part time art teacher for the school. They
said the success of the program helped them to realize how important art education
was to the students and their families.
