What is your role at the school / organization and how long have you been involved in fundraising?
I organize and set up the fundraiser. We have been doing this fundraiser since 1997 I believe.
What inspired you to take on the role of fundraising program coordinator?
I am the director of our preschool and it just seems to fall into my lap.
What’s your favorite part about organizing fundraisers?
The happiness this particular fundraiser brings to our parents, grandparents and children.

Our of our parents was familiar with the event.
Why did you choose our program for your school?
It was a perfect fit.
What do you love most about working with Original Works?
It is an easy fundraiser and gives lasting memories.
How as the fundraising process been for you? Any standout moments?
It has always been very easy for us!

How did your school use the funds raised through Original Works?
We have used the funds for several needs including our scholarship fund and curriculum needs.
What feedback did you get from parents, students, and teachers?
It has been very well received and anticipated.
Do you have a favorite success story from a past fundraiser?
No not really – it has just been widely enjoyed.
What would you say to other schools considering an art-based fundraiser?
This is a perfect fundraiser to do! We do ours at the beginning of the year, which is a great opportunity for the teachers to get to know her children ~ and provides wonderful Christmas gifts for family and friends.
Fun & Personal Touch
What’s your favorite piece of student artwork from a past fundraiser?
My favorites have been the notecards; my children did them each year (right up to their senior year in high school) for their grandparents. And now, I have my grandchildren do an art activity to give to their parents and the other grandparents.
If you could design your own fundraising product, what would it be?
I haven’t ever thought to do one.
