- Draw a circle in the middle of the paper. Make sure to leave space on all sides!
- Draw the head of the turtle.
- Draw the turtle’s four feet.
- Draw the turtle’s tail and eyes.
- Draw an octagon – which has 6 sides – in the middle of the turtle’s shell.
- From each point of the octagon, draw a line to connect to the shell.
- Color! Have fun adding a colorful background. Encourage students to use their imagination with details.
