Owl | Step by Step

Step By Step

  1. Draw the body of the owl. The top of the head should be flatter.
  2. Draw the ear tufts and the feet of the owl.
  3. Draw the owl’s face – a small triangle for the nose and two large circles for the eyes. Draw two more circles inside of the big circle.
  4. Draw the wings of owl.
  5. Draw two curved lines from beak to the wing.
  6. Add lines to give the owl feathers.
  7. Draw a branch for the owl to sit on.
  8. Color!  Have fun adding a colorful background.  Encourage students to use their imagination with details.

  • Original Works white art paper
  • pencil for sketching
  • black marker for outlining
  • Crayons, Markers, Paint- medium of your choice for adding color and details
