Crazy Cool Creatures Lesson Plan
Instructions
Encourage students to visualize and create their own wild creature.
- Invent a wild creature—combine real animals or make it up completely.
- Draw the outline in pencil. Practicing shapes.
- Use bright colored paints, markers or crayons (2–3 colors max for big impact)
- If using paint, once dry, outline the creature in black marker.
- Fill the background with color or patterns. Fill the entire sheet of paper
Tip: Make sure body parts don’t go off the edge—center the creature!
