Educator’s Artwork is Out of This World

Thad McCauley, an art teacher and artist in Aurora, CO, has been partnering with Original Works for art-based school fundraising since his first year out of college, but it’s not just his students’ artwork that is attracting attention.

Original Works recently learned that Mr. McCauley’s own art is currently on display inside the International Space Station. Included as part of the International Space Art & Poetry Contest, his original piece features an astronaut riding a rocket-powered skateboard.
