Step By Step
- Draw a circle for the bee’s head.
- Draw an oval off the circle you drew; this is the bee’s body.
- Draw stripes on the body.
- Draw two sets of wings on the bee’s body – draw the large pair first!
- Give the bee 2 antennae, 1 stinger, and 6 little feet. There should be 3 feet in the back, and 3 in the front.
- Give the bee a face.
- Color! Have fun adding a colorful background. Encourage students to use their imagination with details.
- Add artist’s name or signature. Remember to keep it away from the edge.Â

- Crayons, Markers, Paint- medium of your choice for adding color and details
