Step By Step
- Draw a circle at the end of the paper. This is the caterpillar’s head.
- Draw another circle off that circle to start the caterpillar’s body.
- Draw more circles until you reach the end of the page – be sure not to draw them in a straight line!
- Draw 2 feet on each circle that makes up the caterpillar’s body.
- Draw a face and 2 antennae on the caterpillar’s head.
- Get Creative! Have fun adding a colorful background. Encourage students to use their imagination with details.
- Add artist’s name or signature. Remember to keep it away from the edge.Â

- Crayons, Markers, Paint- medium of your choice for adding color and details
