Spring is in the air! Here at Original Works, the snow has finally melted and I saw our first crocus pop up. We are into our peak spring production season, and are working hard to produce and ship all of your orders for Mother’s Day.
With that in mind, I wanted to focus this week’s blog on some ideas for Mother’s day. After all, our company was started by a mom who wanted to create keepsakes of her daughters’ artwork, and 25 years later we are still turning children’s artwork into products that mom’s and families cherish for years.
For example, mom can show off her special someone’s masterpiece at the grocery store, library and everywhere she goes with our Bamboo Tote Bag. Constructed of 100% bamboo, it is soft but durable and the full color image looks great!

With boxes arriving each day containing Mother’s Day orders, we have the privilege of seeing some truly incredible artwork. Incorporating the children’s hand or footprints into the artwork has been a popular trend. This is a great way to really personalize an image. We love this bunny that was created by using a handprint with just 2 fingers.
This art was made using a fork! By dipping the tongs of the fork into paint, you can then use it as a stamp and create these fun springtime flowers.
